I would like to introduce you to a brand new blog I’ll be writing titled Seanchaí.
‘Seanchaí’ is an old Irish word that means bearer of ‘old lore’ (seanchas), or ‘Storyteller’. Since the 18th century the word has come to refer to an oral story-teller who possesses a wide repertoire of lore involving shorter forms of narrative. Not that I have a “wide repertoire of lore” but since blogs are essentially a collection of stories in many cases, I hope to do the same effectively so that you will enjoy reading the stories I write as well as be able to glean something from them in our Christian lives.
The Believer. The Follower of Jesus. The Follower of the Christ. The Christian. This is a blog about the thoughts and struggles and hopes we have as followers of the Christ.
While I’ll still be writing from time to time on my old blog, A World Between…, which is focused more for the general public and the non-Christian, this blog will be focused more towards the Christian. If you wish to unsubscribe, I won’t be offended… you may do so by following the link included in the email or go here and enter your address on the right side of the screen and click ‘unsubscribe’ (the same applies if you’ve run across this posting, and wish to subscribe). Otherwise, give me a few posts and read them, and by all means I hope you’ll join in the discussion.
Take care, God bless and I’ll see you on the blog!
